As the School of Economics and Management Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SEM) continues its efforts in internationalization by attracting world-class faculty members, we invite applications from international academic circles for“Pepsi Chair Professor”funded by the Pepsi Company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will have kept abreast of the latest developments in his/her field(s), will have the capacity to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, undertake research and interdisciplinary projects in cooperation with other faculty members of the university, and produce publications in top-tier international academic journals with the affiliation of Tsinghua SEM.
We are interested in full Professors from business schools of major research universities and work in the research field of the role of corporations or responsibilities of corporations. The position is expected to be a full-time work; however, the Professor should at least work three months during an academic year in the School if he/she finds the full-time work is difficult.
Candidates must be internationally recognized professors and scholars, well-informed in relevant fields of research and well-known for their achievements in international circles with extensive publications (as first or correspondence author) in the top-tier academic journals. They will be academically critical and professionally cooperative and have essential qualities for teamwork and academic leadership.
The appointment will carry a three-year renewable contract with a globally competitive total salary package.
